Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira, born in Campinas Sao Paulo on May 26, 1978. She is a well-known actress for Woman on Top (2000) Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira joined the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime in the month of March, 2020. She manages the Assassination Witness as well as a member of GI-TOC's Multilateral Engagement team. Within her position with GI TOC, she focuses on disappearances, assassinations - and violence of other types in the context of illegal economies. Research interests include the effects of organized criminality on the law, policies and laws related to the human right. Ana Paula holds an LL.M Cum laude with a laude International Law by the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. She has an LL.M. with a concentration in Public Law, as well as an MBA in international relations at Fundacao Getulio Vargas. Ana Paula has a bachelor degree in Legal and Social Sciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She has been a practicing attorney for over four years in a firm focused on litigation involving public law. The past experience she has had also involved working with roles in non-governmental organizations headquartered within Rio de Janeiro and Geneva.
