Hossack is a native of Canada Steinbach. As a child Hossack grew up studying at Killarney Manitoba. She was active in musical theatre productions. Her first goal was to be a pianist before she began the Brandon University studies. The major she was pursuing changed to Voice. Later, after graduating she admitted that she wanted to act and was not interested in drama. Banff School of Fine Arts was her next stop after she finished her degree from Brandon. Hossack has been appearing on stage at the Rainbow Stage as well as the Muskoka Festival, in Winnipeg.
